The Janitor was right all along

I like to keep a TV show on in the background as I work, since I find the background noise less distracting than music but more reassuring than silence. Thanks to dual monitors and the technological wonder that is Netflix, this often means streaming a show on my other monitor.

This week it’s been Scrubs, which as a South Asian person is almost obligatory viewing. Imagine my surprise when I suddenly heard a line uttered by the janitor character: “In my opinion, we should be looking for bin Laden in Pakistan.” Original air date: February 1st, 2007. I wonder if OBL ever watched the show from his mansion. He could have gotten a good chuckle from that… until this year, of course.
